How I feel about class
Truthfully, i really liked this class, once I got over the early mornings and having to talk in front of the whole class. But, everyone was so friendly that speaking in front of them wasn't as hard as you would imagine. Not saying i'll ever be happy with it but, thanks to everyone else, I could deal with it. Going to school this semester kind of changed me. I'm more outgoing and happy with myself. I feel like I've accomplished alot. I start college, I finally got a job, and i'm sticking to both of them. Although I still have to set up classes for next semester, I know in the end i'll do it. Before I came here, I didn't really feel all that confident. I'm so happy that I'm starting to do something with my life. Also I made a friend thanks to reading 104. In reading 104, it was kind of easy, even if i have a "b", I'm just a really bad procrastinater. If I would have actually gave myself time I could have done better but, in the end, I had a great experience and learned. Thats the point of school right. So I just wanted to say thanks for the confidence and learning experience.

Free choice
The book I'm reading right now is called The Morganville Vampires. I love it so far. Its about a girl named Claire, shes only 16 but already in college. She lives in the dorms but got in a fight with a girl and the girl is under the vampires protection. So, Claire looks up rooms available in the paper and comes up with a good one. But, when she gets there she isn't to sure about it until she meets Eve, who lives there. She ends up moving in and is only supposed to be living there for bout a month. Who knows how long she really will stay though. I think I like this book because it kind of reminds me of twilight a little bit. And I think its going to turn into a love story, which is the kind of books I like the most! I love stories that you can't decide whats going to happen in the end. If they ever made this book into a movie, I hope they would keep it the same because I hate when its such a good book and then when they make it into a movie its so different you wouldn't even recognize it except it has the same name as the book.

Before I fall...
The book that i'm reading is still before I fall. The significance of the title I think is that she is reliving the same day over and over again. So saying before she falls means before the day finally ends she has to figure out a way to be nice to everyone and make everything better between her and her family. One of the days she almost has it right. She decides to stay home from school and spend time with her little sister. At the end of the day her and her family go out to dinner. She decides that if she has to relive any day, she would choose that day. Another day was when she yelled at all her friends and the defriended her. But, she ended up waking up in her own bed on the same day once again. So the significance of the title before I fall is that in the end of the day she dies and has to find out why it keeps happening.

hmm
The book i picked to read is Room by Emma.
Right now i'm not very far in the book, which is really weird for me but with school and my new job (its full time) its hard to stay on top of things. But so far i'm on the part in the book when its the kids birthday and the mom saved some candy. I don't really know much of the book so far. The other book i've read is before I fall. Its about a girl who keeps reliving the same day and as the day ends she keeps dying. So i'm in the part where shes starting not to care about whats happening to her.

Liar
LIAR by Justine Larbalestier
“Liar” is about a girl who has difficulties with telling the truth, whether its with adults, teens, or even her parents. Her boyfriend ends up dead and everyone kind of suspects her because all she ever does is lie.
The significance of the title “Liar” is exactly what it says. Micah is a liar. She lies about simple things like at the beginning of the book her teacher mistakes her for a boy and she doesn’t correct the teacher. She lies about having a brother and that they hate each other. So what if shes lying about everything in the book. I wish someone else was telling the story about her, so maybe we would know what’s the truth is or isn’t. At the end of the book something happens to her teacher, I don’t really know how to take it because it kind of seems like it moved one thing and then was on a different part.
“Liar” really annoys me because I don’t know what to think about it, she ends up saying shes a werewolf but with so many lies how can anyone believe her? Also about her parents living her at the greats, I know it seems like a good idea, but all the parents I know of wouldn’t be able to just leave them and never see them again. Finally, she shares who killed Zach but whose to say that she didn’t. All Micah ever does is lie! That’s why no matter what happens in the book I won’t believe it because she is a Liar!

Fourth Comings
Fourth comings by Megan McCafferty
This is the forth book in the series. Its about Jessica Darling. She just graduated from college with a psychology degree. She doesn’t know what to do with it though. So shes trying to deal with that.
Her and her boyfriend Marcus Flute are back together and he just asked her to marry him. Mostly because they were thinking about breaking up, which really confused me.
In “Fourth Comings” there is a couple Bridget and Pettie, they got engaged but then ended up saying they aren’t going to get married untill gays can get married because why would they do support something that not everyone can do. I kind of agree but at the same time they should worry about themselves. Its not really their fight to fight. Sure they could support gays and still get married. They must really want to be married if he asked the question and she accepted. I hope they end up getting married in the last book because they seem like they belong together. Bridget and Pettie have been together since high school. I believe their in their last year of college and Bridget just transferred to be with Pettie. Also Marcus just asked Jessica to marry him. I really want them to be together to. Guess I’m a hopeless romantic too. But they don’t seem like their going in that direction so I’m hoping something changes.

My feelings on the book "Charmed Thirds" by Megan McCafferty
The book I just read is called “Charmed Thirds” by Megan McCafferty. Its about a girl named Jessica Darling. She has a boyfriend named Marcus and they end up breaking up because they were in a long distance relationship.
“Charmed Thirds” kind of made me angry because after it took them so long to get together why would you ruin it by being stupid. One of them should have just moved closer together if they wanted to have a relationship. Distance is hard enough without putting other problems into it. Jessica Darling does something in the book that really makes me mad. I’ll just say she must have not wanted the relationship bad enough.
The ending is the best part of the book, which, took all my anger of what Jessica did away! Jessica goes on a road trip with her best friend Hope and Marcus gives her a going away gift that I think will make her understand him more. Maybe finally she and Marcus can be together without all the issues they’ve had in the past.
I kind of relate to the story because I use to be friends with a guy who moved away. First it wasn’t that far away and he ended up coming back. Then a couple years after moving back, he ended up moving to Texas. Its really hard to get over something like that. So, I understand how Jessica Darling is feeling. After all though, I think that if your ment to be together you will be. You just have to wait till is your turn to shine!

Letter to the Author of Vampire Academy
The book I read is called “Vampire Academy” by Richelle Mead
Dear Richelle Mead,
When I first started to read your book I didn’t think I would like it because I had read “Twilight” first and I thought it was just going to be “another one of those books” As I got closer to the end though I couldn’t wait to read the next book. I bugged my sister until she would let me read the next book before her. (they are her books and she can’t be weird about them) They are such good books. I just want to keep reading more. I was wondering if you are going to write any more books about the characters? I would be so excited if you would! Also how did you come up with the story line. Its nothing like “Twilight” and yet, its more exciting I would say. Would you ever consider having a shadow, I would love to see how writers come up with some of their material. I don’t have much of an imagination. So it would be really nice to se
Your Friend,
Amy

Remember Me by Christopher Pike
The book I chose is called “Remember Me” by Christopher Pike. “ Remember Me” is about a girl named Shari Cooper. She goes to a party with friends and ends up dead, now she has to find her killer.
The book affected me because it is so different then what I normally read. Normally I would read probably a book by Zane or even a book like “Twilight”. Once I read remember me I was happy that I did.
The big question in “Remember Me” is what happens after death. “Do you move on to some place better?” “Do you become someone else?” Another question is “can you go back to your same life or do you have to come back to life as someone else“.
I learned that life always has something to offer and its your choice if you get something from it or not. And you should always be thankful for great friends and family, you never know when your time is going to be up. Or how your going to go.
The strangest part would have to be the way that it’s the dead girl “Shari Cooper” writing the book, especially at the end of the book.
The subculture is about believing in God and what other things can come from it. I would have to agree with the book because I believe in God, I believe that If you missed out so much in your life that he might let you come back and do what you needed to do in the beginning.

All About Me.
Hi Everyone,
My names Amy. I was born and raised in Peoria, illinois. I went to Woodruff High School. One of the first things you will notice about me is that i love to read. It definitely has to be a good book though. You'll probably catch me reading almost any where. I believe I got my love for reading from my mom and her mom. I think it just runs in the family! I've been reading on my own (without having to do with school) since about the 5th grade. In the fifth grade I was the top reader in the whole school. I think it was then when i decided that I truly loved to read.
